DUF 2016 Occupy DUF Guidelines

Did you know? We have 1500 DUF’ers and their families attending DUF 2016! With the increased numbers of LARGE groups attending, we realize the need for coordination to ensure a safe and harmonious place for everyone. We know that many of you would like to bring your portable canopies to provide a place of respite for your dancers, families & chaperones.

There are plenty of places on campus, other than the areas designated for Mercado and the Parent Pavilion where you can set up a portable canopy–limit 2 (two), 10×10′ canopies per group–to use as a home base for your group. ‘Occupy DUF’ is OK in areas that are marked on the MAP.

These spaces will be on a first come first serve basis and CANOPIES CANNOT BE LEFT ON CAMPUS OVERNIGHT.

We only ask that you be mindful that we are guests on campus and that you leave the area as clean as you found it. You are also welcome to bring in food, however, school district policy does not allow personal cooking apparatuses such as portable grills or stoves. Please note: NO OPEN FLAMES allowed on Campus. On-campus food preparation is strictly reserved for our vendors as they are in a controlled environment. Thank you for your cooperation.
