Danzantes Unidos Festival DUF 2018 “Cultura Sin Fronteras” will take place on March 23, 24 & 25 in Fresno, CA and honors the ongoing work of folklorico artists sharing culture and traditions across the United States and in Mexico. For more information, please visit www.danzantes.org . 

Congratulations to the nearly 1500 participants that have registered for workshops at DUF 2018!  With only a handful of open spots in adult classes, the event is pretty much sold out.  As always, we have kept the limit of dancers per class to 30 with the exception of the Master Classes, which are always larger and taught at a faster pace. DUF Registration would like to update all participants with the following teaching staff changes:

Many of us had the opportunity to hear Maestra Blanca Araceli Soto as the voice of “The Emcee” in Disney/Pixar’s film, “COCO”.  Sadly for us, her busy acting career will keep her from teaching the Dance Theater class this year.  All her students have been notified to arrange for transfer into other classes.  Still . . . Maestra Blanca WILL be with us “in spirit” as she introduces this year’s Showcase Concerts in prerecorded voice-over!  We are truly SPECIAL.  Gracias, Maestra!

Similarly, Maestros Cortez and Vasquez have work conflicts that will keep them from joining us.  Fortunately for us, we have two amazing Maestras coming in to replace them.  Please make note of the following:
