The annual Danzantes Unidos Festival is the largest Mexican folk dance gathering in the United States. Renowned maestros from across the United States and Mexico teach folklorico workshops designed for all age and skill levels. Folklorico groups also have an opportunity to showcase a region at the Danzantes Unidos Festival Showcase Concerts.
Director’s Dialogue
The Director’s Dialogue offers Directors across the country opportunities to discuss issues and trends surrounding folklorico and the Mexican culture.
University Folklorico Summit
The University Folklorico Summit is a folklorico based cultural leadership conference designed for collegiate folklorico groups.
Educator’s Conference
The Educator’s Conference develops and prepares the future folklorico maestros for the United States school system.
Folklorico On Wheels
Folklorico on Wheels provides folklorico workshops for schools in need of a short term cultural arts program.
MusiDanza
MusiDanza promotes the reunion of dance performance and live music through dialogue between folk musicians and the folklorico dance community. Discussions address the interpretation of the traditional arts in Mexico and the U.S.
Festival Sin Fronteras
Festival Sin Fronteras gives participants a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to a state in Mexico and participate in lectures and dance workshops. Details on future Festival Sin Fronteras opportunities coming soon.
