Accomplished Folklorico director, educator, event coordinator, and cultural leader with over 20 years of experience in Mexican dance instruction, large-scale event planning, and community engagement. Founder and director of Grupo Folklorico Tapatio de Oceanside, dedicated to preserving and promoting Mexican heritage while fostering youth development and cultural pride. Extensive background in coordinating city-sponsored events, teaching large-scale workshops, mentoring students, and organizing award-winning performances. A member of Misiones Culturales, Mexico’s oldest cultural school, which has been preserving Mexican history,traditions, and regional arts for over 101 years. Actively participates in events, cultural exchanges, and educational programs, expanding knowledge of Mexico’s diverse cultural heritage. Recognized for significant contributions to cultural preservation, including being honored by César Chávez’s family for dedication to the arts and community.
