Danzantes Unidos DUF 2026 “Nurturing the Light” welcomes Maissel Vizcarra teaching Folklorico Juniors: Campeche, Coahuila & Quintana Roo; ages 7 & 8.

Maissel Vizcarra has been dancing for fifteen years with Tradición Dance Company of Pomona, CA. She has been an instructor for over a decade working with students ages 3 to 63 years. During this time Ms. Vizcarra has also continued her journey as a dancer and as an instructor through participation in workshops; such as, the Danzantes Unidos Festival since 2013. Maissel has a background in the arts as an actor, singer & dancer.  Her goal is to eventually direct her own company.  Meanwhile, she continues her love for Mexican folk dance and spreading it to the next generation.

Danzantes Unidos is fortunate to count as Maissel Vizcarra as a volunteer managing the backstage for our Showcase Concerts.

Danzantes Unidos Festival DUF 2026 “Nurturing the Light” will take place March 27, 28 & 29 in Fresno, CA.
Registration is OPEN at www.danzantes.org.  Early Registration ends on January 23, 2026.
