Festival Sin Fronteras 2026 Puebla, Mexico welcomes Dr. José Luis Gómez González teaching Jarabes Poblanos & Sones de La Intervención Francesa.

Originally from the city of Puebla, he holds an Honorary Doctorate from the Doctoral Cloister of Fine Arts and Humanities, a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, and is a Certified Instructor of Mexican Folkloric Dance. He was a member of the C’Acatl Folkloric Dance Company of Maestro Vidal Calvario Tepox, now the C’Acatl Puebla Higher School of Folkloric Dance.

He is the Director of the Calpulli Folkloric Ballet of Dances and Traditions of Mexico, which currently has 148 members divided into four groups: children, youth, senior citizens, and adults.
