The University Folklorico Summit (UFS), an initiative of Danzantes Unidos, is a three-day leadership and cultural arts conference designed for collegiate folklorico groups. UFS provides a forum for university folklorico group leaders to meet, share their best practices, and strategize for their communities. UFS strives to educate the next generation of folklorico student leaders of the multiple facets and characteristics that make up an efficient and sustainable university folklorico group.

UFS 2016 “Leaders Today To Create Legacies Tomorrow” will take place on February 19-21 at San Jose State University, 1 Washington Square, San Jose, CA 95192. The event is hosted by the amazing Grupo Folklorico Luna y Sol de San Jose State and will take place in the SJSU Student Union. UFS 2016 participants will have an opportunity to attend cultural and organizational development workshops, movement workshops, and partake in networking opportunities. Student leaders and administrators of high school folklorico groups are encouraged to participate.

UFS registration costs $45 and includes access to 3 days of enticing folklorico workshops. All registration information will be processed online and is payable by ATM or credit card. Please note that UFS registration is non-refundable. The last day to receive a t-shirt with registration is February 5, 2016.
